    April 19 , 2009 - Update

I haven't heard a word about the project in over a year. It makes me think I need a section on the web site for projects that have gone no where.

    March 10, 2008 - Update

There's a rumour (from a reliable source) that construction has started on the building. I'm verifying with the developer. - Dan

    October 30, 2007 Update

The developer has submitted plans to the city and the city has provided comments. Now the back and forth begins.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look out folks! Another loft development is coming to Trenton and right downtown.

The developer says they're planning on converting this 30,000 SF building into upscale lofts. So far they're undecided about rental or sale, so if you have a preference let me know and I'll pass it along.

Of the three big downtown developments, this will be the smallest so it will certainly be a different living experience than the other two.

The exciting part of this is that we're talking about 468 new living units being renovated within one block of each other in downtown. Combined with Mill Hill (2 blocks away), we'll have enough density in downtown to spawn some new retail.

As of March 10, the developer is working on plans in advance of going before the Trenton Planning Board. He's told me that he wants to let the trentonlofts.com e-mail list get first crack at these units (I'm putting words in his mouth, but I'm sure he'd agree).
