    Delware Run

Delware Run is being built by K. Hovnanian on the site of the former Champale Brewery. You remember Champale if you're of a certain age. The homes are meant to sell for somewhere in the mid $100K's. That's pretty inexpensive.

The project had quite a few twists and turns including a political firestorm when the City of Trenton used Eminent Domain to take away property from nearby landowners to make room for KHov. Not cool. The project also uses NJHMFA funding that requires a certain percentage of the homes be affordable housing.

If all of that is OK with you, Delaware Crossing affords a pretty good location in Trenton directly across the street from the beautiful RiverWalk and near Rt. 29. The project effectively fronts the Delware River.

Delaware Run is in South Trenton which, as I've said many times, is the fastest growing part of town.
