Peace St.
There are two cozy one bedroom apartments
available
on
Peace St. in downtown Trenton. The great thing about
these apartments is how inexpensive they are (both
include heat!!!).
Both are renovated and have nice insulated plaster walls, 10 foot ceilings, AND most importantly you're steps away from all the downtown office buildings, restaurants, entertainment venues and highways. |

Doug's Wi-Fi fantasy
Trenton's Mayor has sunk to a new low. He's
pursuing a deal with start-up E-Path Communication
to build a city-wide Wi-Fi network even though every
other city in America that has tried Wi-Fi and has
failed.
Philly, San Francisco and Chicago all have failed
efforts.
The Philly Wi-Fi operation is currently laying off its employees. So just when all of these bigger more sophisticated cities are calling it quits, Trenton has decided its time to get in on the action. Wow!
Apparently, Mayor Palmer believes Trenton can defy
the laws of physics and rules of sound business
practice to
create America's only workable city-wide Wi-Fi
network.
Our city council had the opportunity to stop this madness but failed. Between the 7 city council members, only two use a computer and only one could be called savvy. Moving to Trenton means living with this type of bad government on a regular basis. It's frustrating but the only good news is that this Wi-Fi deal won't really blow up in the politicians faces until right before the 2010 election. Look for a Letter to the Editor in the near future. |

Dec. 1st
Once again it's time for the Mill Hill House Tour. This
is a great way to take a nice long look at Trenton's
best neighborhood.
The Christmas Tour is in its 41st year and is famous for the outlandish decorations that the style conscious neighbors put up. The tour is this Saturday, Dec. 1st from 12-5. |
